ヨークシャーの風景の一部になったケイトの「ブロンテ・ストーン」

ブロンテ・ストーンのプロジェクトにケイトが寄稿した詩が ヨークシャーの風景の中に刻まれた4つのブロンテ・ストーンのうちの1つとして 見ることができるようになりました。 このケイトの詩はヨークシャームーアのオグデン・カーク地域の自然石に 刻み込まれています。 文字を掘る作業はピップ・ホールによって 行われ、ストーンを見て回るためのさまざまな案内地図をハワースの牧師館で 手に入れることができます。 エミリー・ブロンテに捧げられたケイトの詩:

She stands outside
A book in her hands
“Her name is Cathy”, she says
“I have carried her so far, so far
Along the unmarked road from our graves
I cannot reach this window
Open it, I pray.”
